Publicizing Your Grant
Publicity is an effective way to raise public awareness of your organization and The Community Foundation and goes a long way toward generating further support of our respective missions. Your grant is a newsworthy event.
We require all grantees to acknowledge grants from The Community Foundation in a timely manner and in all subsequent printed material associated with the funded project. The grant should be referred to as “a grant from the (Insert Fund Name) Endowment of The Community Foundation of South Alabama.”
Copies of such communications and announcements, and of published references to the grant, should be sent to The Community Foundation with the grant report.
The Grantee authorizes The Community Foundation to use photographs and any accompanying explanatory text for any and all publicity purposes deemed necessary and appropriate by The Community Foundation. The Grantee certifies they have the permission of any individuals shown in photographs, sent to The Community Foundation, to use any photographs bearing their likenesses for publicity purposes, newsletters, annual report and public listing of grants.
